Who we are

Ancaster Fitness is a project of Heron Creek Fitness and runs out of our facility in the Ancaster Rotary Center across from Ancaster High School.

Originally established as a Yoga studio in 2012, Heron Creek moved to its current facility and expanded its offerings in 2017.

Ancaster Fitness is your one stop transformation center. We build programs around members’ lifestyles and provide a culture that is second to none.

We get results while making members feel a part of something bigger.

Dawn Sarabura

Manager

Dawn Sarabura is a seasoned fitness professional with over 30 years of experience in the health and wellness industry.

Since founding Heron Creek Yoga & Fitness in 2003 Dawn has helped thousands of individuals achieve their fitness goals in a safe and fun way.

Her credentials include certifications as a Personal Trainer in both the U.S. and Canada, 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), and Pilates. She also enjoys teaching cardio dance, HIIT, Spin, Group Strength and AquaFit.

Dawn's approach to personal training is holistic, combining weight training for sustainable weight loss and overall well-being with the core-strengthening principles of Pilates and the mobility of yoga.

She believes in helping clients build strength, resilience, and confidence by creating well-rounded, personalized training programs that are tailored to her clients and fun to do.

With a passion for helping others improve their quality of life, Dawn offers a wealth of expertise and guidance in every session. She believes fitness is most effective when it's enjoyable and relevant.

She educates clients on the benefits of each exercise while creating a fun, rewarding session.

Whether your goal is to build strength, lose weight, or just age well, she tailors programs to fit your unique needs.

Rowan Watson
Personal Trainer / Coaching Specialist

Rowan Watson is a dynamic and passionate personal trainer. Her love for sports and physical activity began early in life, with a strong focus on hockey, soccer, and running.

Growing up playing a variety of sports sparked her interest in exercise, which deepened when she began working out in a gym.

Driven to learn more about the body’s movement and mechanics, Rowan earned her B.Sc. in Kinesiology from Western University.

Her academic background gives her a deep understanding of the body’s structural, functional, and mechanical processes, knowledge she brings into her personal training sessions.

Certified by the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), Rowan has worked with clients of all ages and fitness levels.

Rowan also trains teams, including her former team, the Ancaster Avalanche Girls U18 AA’s, focusing on improving their competitive edge.

She takes a personalized approach to training, believing that fitness is most effective when it is both enjoyable and well understood.

Her goal is to educate clients on the benefits of specific exercises while creating an environment that makes working out exciting and rewarding.

Whether you want to build strength, lose weight, or improve overall functionality, Rowan designs individualized programs to meet each client’s unique needs.

Balancing her personal training role with studying Osteopathy full-time at Sheridan College, Rowan understands the demands of a busy lifestyle and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate her clients' needs.

Michelle Roberts

Personal Trainer / Fitness Coach

Michelle Roberts is a dedicated and passionate personal trainer at Heron Creek Yoga and Fitness, with over 20 years of personal fitness experience.

After years of an on-again, off-again relationship with the gym, Michelle found her true passion for strength training when she joined Heron Creek six years ago.

Since then, she has transformed her lifestyle, losing 48 pounds, building strength, and maintaining her fitness goals with confidence and consistency.

Certified by CanFitPro, Michelle specializes in helping men and women who are new to lifting weights or may feel intimidated by gym equipment.

Her mission is to make the gym a welcoming and empowering space, guiding her clients to feel confident in their workouts while achieving their goals.

Michelle understands firsthand the challenges of starting and sticking with a fitness routine, and she is eager to share her personal journey to inspire and support others.

Whether you’re looking to get stronger, lose weight, or simply gain confidence in the gym, Michelle is ready to help you every step of the way.

Scott Williams

Personal Trainer / Fitness Coach / Physio Specialist

Scott Williams is a dedicated and knowledgeable personal trainer who takes a holistic and balanced approach to fitness. He believes that movement training is essential for preparing the body and mind for a lifetime of health and resilience.

With a background in Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology (CHEK Institute), Scott is equipped with the tools and expertise to help clients overcome movement challenges and achieve their fitness goals safely and effectively.

Scott specializes in core conditioning and integrated movement techniques, offering personalized programs that focus on long-term health and well-being. His approach emphasizes balance and consistency, helping clients develop sustainable routines that support both physical and mental resilience.

Always approachable and enthusiastic, Scott encourages clients to connect with him on the gym floor. Whether you're looking to strengthen your core, improve functional movement, or simply gain more freedom in your body, Scott is ready to guide you.

He is available for training sessions during both the day and evening hours, ensuring flexible scheduling to meet his clients' needs.
